Australian Chinese ICT Professional Society aims to build a close contact among academics in ICT area in Australia, establish a venue for exchanging ideas, and foster research collaborations among colleagues in China and Australia. It could be a point of contact for our Chinese colleagues who wish to visit Australian Universities, pursue PhD study, and seek research collaborators. Currently there are some programs such as "Chun Hui Ji Hua" in China to support and attract overseas Chinese scholars to visit and collaborate with colleagues in China. Further funding and collaboration opportunities may be channelled by the society.
